A Touch Sensor on the Glass Plate with a Backlit Pictogram
Jánešová, Daniela ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Šťáva, Martin (advisor)
This thesis describes the solution of controlling device by capacitive-touch sensor. The geometry of the sensor is solved on standard printed circuit board, which is placed on the glass-made panel. In general, the theme of touch sensors is solved in the world by several companies and it is based on capacitive principles. They are described at the beginning of the work. By far, the main part of the work is focused on specific solutions with chosen integrated circuit for evaluation of touch sensor.
The Development of the New Concept of Autonomous Cranes
Kubín, Martin ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Hrabovský, Leopold (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The presented PhD thesis aims to verify the possibilities of using capacitive accelerate sensors on the crane and handling technology. Capacitive acceleration sensors of MEMS type are currently widely used in electronics, e.g. laptops and mobile phones. Using these sensors could help to automate cranes, which would eventually reduce the financial costs of material handling. Precise knowledge of their own condition and position of the machine and the load is a necessary part of autonomous manipulators. The first part of thesis deals with the exploration of scientific research in the Czech Republic and abroad. Furthermore the options of mathematical description of moving the load on the rope tow are described including solved examples. One chapter is devoted to the description of sensors that could be used in the automation of cranes. The main part is focused on description of several experiments. The experiments were conducted in a lab constructed specially for this measurement. Mainly basic simpler models are described illustrating abilities of the sensor. The last part outlines further possible progress of research in this area.
Wireless start blocks
Venkrbec, Lukáš ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor work describes the design and implementation of a system that will be able to detect the start of the course athletes. By appropriate choice of sensor for detecting the starting reaction athletes, a wireless module for transmitting the information obtained from the sensor to the mobile phone, and also the LCD display. The proposed system will contain a microcontroller ATmega328.
Design and implementation of testing device for specimen mechanism for electron microscope
Measuring parameters of large-area capacitive sensors in touch screens
Baďo, Martin ; Mancl, Vlastimil (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This thesis studies characteristics and technologies used in capacitive sensors. For the purpose of automatic testing of sensors was selected and assembled device LowRider CNC V3. Tested sensors are from materials: silver nanowires and copper electrodes. Device during automatic tests was causing certain level of electromagnetic or electrostatic interference on sensors. Copper electrode sensor responded more significantly to touch but also interference, in comparison with silver nanowires sensor. Results of thesis more closely describe responses by sensors to touch and advantages or disadvantages of automatic testing.
Electronic chess
Kočka, Matúš ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on function of capacitive sensors on a printed circuit board and a series of measurements from which it was possible to create a subsequent sensors for the chess board. It also deals with the CoreXY technique, according to which a design of a motion mechanism is made in the Siemens NX program, and its subsequent implementation. The device includes a microcontroller for which software is created to process data from sensors and control stepper motors.
Touch Sensor On The Glass Plate With A Backlit Pictogram
Jánešová, Daniela
In this work is described the solution of controlling device by capacitive touch sensor with a backlit pictogram. Sensor geometry is unusual thanks to this pictogram. Control the touch sensing is provided by integrated circuit CAP1203 from Microchip company.
